Cycle Teams, Medical Support and Rapid Response Vehicles

Event First Aid prides itself on the flexible delivery of services to every event.

Particularly useful for events which are spread out over a course (fun runs, triathlons, marathons, cycle races), we can provide a Cycle Medical Team with Basic, Intermediate, Advanced or Critical Care Medics and up to six riders equipped with resuscitation, defibrillation and trauma management packs and medication kits.

We also provide a range of vehicles including two Rapid Response Vehicles (First Intervention Vehicles) equipped to provide up to Advanced Life Support level intervention rapidly at the roadside; two stretcher-equipped Medical Support Vehicles, which carry all of the equipment carried on a frontline ambulance, and a 4WD Medical Support Vehicle designed for offroad events including motocross and downhill mountain biking where accessing patients is difficult.


	Brisbane Running Festival InTraining contracted Event First Aid to develop and implement a plan for medical coverage of their rapidly growing Brisbane Running Festival. Event First Aid deployed a Medical Support Vehicle, four officer Cycle Medical Team, two Advanced Life Support Medics and a Doctor; the team treated more than forty patients, avoiding eight hospitalisations.
