Health Care Options and its trading entities 1300MEDICS and Event First Aid are comprehensively insured. Certificates of Currency can be provided on request.

Public Liability and General Insurance
Indemnifies Health Care Options against claims arising from an injury to a member of the public occurring as a result of our work or at our facilities. Public liability insurance does not cover a professional organisation for the delivery of any medical treatment. Our policy also covers 'Goods In Custody' which insures equipment loaned from suppliers or clients. Health Care Options holds a $20M policy.

Professional Indemnity Insurance
Indemnifies Health Care Options against claims arising as a result of mistakes, poor advice or treatment which occur during our professional activity - 'emergency medical care.' We are also insured for training and emergency patient movement. This policy extends to all our Medics, including Advanced Life Support and Critical Care, but not doctors (all of our doctors are independently insured). Health Care Options holds a $10M policy.

Health Care Options and Event First Aid hold licenses in Queensland and New South Wales which authorise them under the relevant legislation to possess and administer emergency medications.
